ACTILINGUA ACADEMY (age: 16+)
Our school for adults 16+ is open all year round. It is located in Vienna's embassy district, opposite the castle Belvedere. The city center (Stephansplatz) can be reach within 15 minutes by public transport. The classrooms are in a class of their own. Bright, welcoming and equipped with the latest in educational technology, they make learning a pleasure.

HOLIDAY COURSE: 16 - 19 years
The course is aimed at students aged 16-19 years, who prefer to spend time with their peers in Vienna. Lessons take place at the ActiLingua Academy. Students are accommodated in rooms with 2-3 beds at a student house that is perfectly suited to welcome a young international crowd.

SUMMER SCHOOL VIENNA-CENTRE FOR YOUTH (12-17 years)
The summer school for young people from 12-17 years is located in central Vienna surrounded by a wonderful park. The famous sights are only a short walk away or easily reachable by public transport. The house and the grounds - a former summer residence of Emperor Karl VI, the father of Maria Theresia - are spaciously laid out.

Welcome to ActiLingua Academy!
We teach standard German according to a recognized curriculum all year round, catering for students from beginner to advanced level.

The lessons take place in small groups, the average class-size is 8 to a maximum of 12 students. Afternoon and evening cultural and leisure activities included in the price present a many-sided view of Vienna and Austrian culture.

ACCOMMODATION:

- ActiLingua Residence - with 20 Standard & Superior Apartments:
You share a single or a twin room together with 2 - 5 other ActiLingua students. The apartments (60-75 m²) feature Sat-TV, radio, telephone as well as free W-LAN/Wi-Fi. Shared use of kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Rooms are cleaned twice a week. Bed linen is provided, please bring your own towels. Can be booked as residence or with hotel*** service.

Recommendation for students who wish to stay in a very nice and comfortable establishment close to the city center. Completely self-catering with fully equipped kitchen or breakfast option is possible.

- Host families/Apartments/Student Residences:
At host families and in the school residence it is possible to book breakfast, half board or self catering (cooking facilities). Our apartments are equipped with a kitchen in which you will find the most important utensils and crockery.

  Activities:

ACTILINGUA ACADEMY 16+ / HOLIDAY COURSE 16 - 19 years
Included in the price are Vienna guides tours, Viennese Waltz course. We offer special talks and videos about Austrian music, art, literature, history and architecture. Films, tours of the many sights of Vienna and sports all form are part of this programme.

On weekends we offer excursions to e.g. Salzburg, Budapest, Klosterneuburg,... Excursions are paid for directly in Vienna (cost price).

SUMMER SCHOOL FOR JUNIORS (12-17 years)
In our Summer School Vienna-Centre our teachers put together an exciting leisure programme on the school premises and show you the very best of Vienna.
The leisure programme takes place every afternnoon and evening.

  Equipment:

Modern school with 6 bright, welcoming, tastefully furnished and well equipped classrooms, in a typical Viennese Jugendstil building.
Between classes, students can meet at the ActiLingua multimedia library which features German-language literature and the latest issues of newspapers and magazines. You can watch videos, listen to language cassettes or work at the computer. Courses also take place at the ActiLingua annexe.
